Privacy Policy for Vangard AI

This Privacy Policy describes how Vangard AI («we», «our», or «the Platform») collects, uses, processes, and protects the information of end-users who interact with our automated messaging and conversational commerce tools, integrated via the Meta API (Facebook Messenger and Instagram Direct).
1. Information We Collect To provide our automated customer service as a Tech Provider, we receive and process the following data transmitted by Meta when a user interacts with businesses associated with our infrastructure:
- Page-Scoped User IDs (PSID) and Instagram IDs (IGSID).
- Content of text messages, multimedia responses, and mentions.
- Commercial interaction metadata (ad clicks, product referral links, and postbacks).
- Public profile information shared by default by Meta (such as name and locale) to personalize the service.
2. Use of Information The collected data is used exclusively for the following purposes:
- To facilitate automated customer service and orchestrate conversational commerce experiences.
- To analyze user intent via Artificial Intelligence (AI) engines to issue accurate contextual responses regarding product catalogs and services.
- To route complex queries to human agents when automation requires it.
3. Sharing Information with Third Parties (Data Processors) To generate cognitive responses, anonymized text messages may be securely and transiently transmitted to third-party Large Language Model (LLM) providers. We do not sell, rent, or trade user data to third parties for independent advertising purposes.
4. Data Retention and Protection Conversational histories and identifiers (PSID/IGSID) are securely stored in our encrypted databases to maintain chat thread coherence. We maintain strict cryptographic security protocols in transit (HTTPS) and at rest.
5. User Data Deletion End-users have the absolute right to request the deletion of their history and associated data. If a user wishes to revoke access to our application, they can do so from their Facebook/Instagram security settings center. This event triggers an automatic notification (Data Deletion Callback) to our servers, resulting in the immediate and irretrievable deletion of their chat history and associated metadata in our infrastructure.
